Here's My Story

Hello, I am so happy you’re here! I am Lindsey Walters, the founder of Walters Creative. I live in North Carolina and work with small businesses and entrepreneurs in and around Charlotte. However, with COVID-19 and the rise of Zoom, I’ve found that clients don’t have to be local – we can still meet screen to screen. I absolutely love what I do, and I have the experience, skill and business sense to back it up. 

I started out designing magazines, newspapers, and websites in my college classes. I fell in love with making something out of nothing. After graduating from UNCW, I founded Walters Creative armed with an obsession with color, a good eye for design, and a professional writing degree. Here we are with lots of beautifully-branded businesses, hundreds of breakfast teas, and five years later, and I could not be happier.

I have a passion for helping people who, like me, think their dreams are worth pursuing.

FAQ

Our timeline runs 4-6 weeks for premium packages. Other project timelines fall between 1-3 weeks. Small-scale projects can be done in one business week. If you need your project completed by a tight deadline, please let us know in our initial consult!

We work with one client at a time; however, we have full-time clients, as well. We take our time to make sure nothing is overlooked and provide you with a solid foundation to launch your business without ever looking back. Great things take time.

We organize all of your files by type: .png, .jpg, .eps, .svg, .pdf, etc! We include detailed instructions on how and where to use each kind of file. We also provide coaching throughout the design process. Additionally, most packages include a style guide with comprehensive instructions.

We’re always available to our clients, past and present. You will never be left to figure out what to do next, how to use a product, or when to anything by yourself. 

We will get you on-boarded to Trello, a project management site. From there, we collaborate, you give us feedback, ask questions and more! This is so much easier than keeping up with tons of email chains – everything you need is in one place!

We accept a variety of payment methods, including check, Zelle, and Venmo. Depending on scope, projects are generally split into a couple of payments. 

We always require a retainer before starting any design work.

 

We send your final design files via email once we receive your last payment! 

Yes! You will pay a % of the project before it begins. This ensures your spot on our schedule.
